[Hardware TIPs]Why my DDR400 shows DDR333?

PDFPrintE-mail

Some manufacturing set the bios force to run at DDR333 in order to get best system compatibity. so in this case, even you have DDR400, it got downgraded to DDR333(166MHz). If you do want to run at 200MHz, you can adjust the BIOs option of "DRAM Frequency" to manual of DDR200. The change option varies depend on the motherboard manufacturing.
